Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do DHL and other courier companies use those electronic signing devices? They're ****e. My signature never looks legit on it when I sign.
Also sometimes the courier is in a rush and says he'll do it himself later. Is he going to forge my signature or am I missing something? They're not meant to do this are they?

The signature thing is just a placebo

Yea that is what they should do. Simple and fool proof.

I just don't see how ESD's got approved by courier companies in the first place. They just don't do the job.

It's because the device sends a message back to the companies network which shows delivery has been made and the signature no matter however unreadable acts as POD. As most companies want everything yesterday it speeds up customer care queries.

I gave up even attempting to write my name a long time. I just usually write whatever nonsense comes into my head.

Why don't they just take a finger print? Or is that not allowed?
