Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So I've been on a 3 day week since start of December. Filled in dockets in SW office, the X and O system, and submitted. 3 weeks later I got my first cheque €98. I've also recieved dockets out in the post and filled in and returned them. this is all I've recieved to date. It said it was covering a period of 3 weeks, but thats just one weeks payment right?? I know with xmas in the middle that there isnt cheques issued for a bit, but when should I next expect a payment, or should I ring in and see whats going on?

Did they send you out a means test letter saying how much they will dock you for each day worked?

I got a letter saying it would be calculated off €196 or so as a full week, so half that I guess for a 3 day week?

You are allowed 20 euro per day for the 3 days without interfering with your welfare payment. Then the deduction is 60% of what you are earning at work per day after you deduct the 20.
example : you earn 80 per day. (minus 20 allowed) = 60 euro.
    60% of 60 euro =36 euro.

So, for every day you work they will deduct 36 euro from your welfare.;)

does that apply to both JSA and JSB?

Think it's both. And if your wife is on welfare also, then half that to 18 euro reduction a day.;)
