green river is simply Fluorescein dye you'll see lots more on March 17th
bad journalism to link it to anything, as it's a fairly non-toxic dye

unlucky for a flock of birds to fly into a fireworks display

the rest is people looking for patterns that can't be explained by the bad weather and the usual fish kills - how has wild life been affected by the recent snow falls, last time round I saw swans walking around on the ice

animals die in bad weather, happens all the time, this is why maybe half of all small birds die each winter,

have the seal and dolphin deaths stopped or are they just unreported these days ?

Everything that lives or that has ever lived faces death sooner or later. It is a fact of life (no pun intended)

In modern times we have more access to information and access to actual events so we hear or see more of it. I do not see anything to be worried overduly by just yet.
