Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Is Beglin having a laugh?

Two footed lunge, off the ground, has to go for that. The completely impartial Jim Beglin thinks its harsh and merited a yellow.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

feet off the ground, i think he had to go there.

No need for a tackle like that FFS Stevie

    defo a red card

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,928 ✭✭✭dubmick

Disgraceful tackle and Beglin think's a red was harsh? Joker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,288 ✭✭✭✭ntlbell

Lets assume the 30 mins here is going to be the same as every 30 mins for the rest of the season so will we?

Play well and lose under Kenny or completely fold to inferior teams and lose anyway

Not making assumptions, that's the point I was trying to make. :)

I thought maybe we were being harsh on him until he said a yellow would of sufficed.

Liverpool were looking far more composed and threatening with the ball than the nervous United. Now I wonder if they will crumble or hold steady

Cannot argue against the ref's decision there. It looked bad, and probably even worse without the benefit of a replay.

Come on Liverpool, heads up and keep going.

Jesus, 35 mins, a goal and a red card is all it took for Utds fans to realise they were in a football stadium. Did they just get there or what?

Woops, spoke too soon, one chant and they are back out at the bars again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

RAWK all agree it should've been yellow :D

Silly stuff from Gerrard. Wreckless tackle.

    He had to go.

One of the problem with football is that pundits, commentator, players, managers and fans refuse to accept the rules.

So even though something is a nailed on red card or penalty (not the dive earlier) they question the decision even though it is the rules because of some sort of football logic that doesn't exist in any other sport.
