American Girlfriend coming to live in Ireland

Hi, I have found it VERY difficult to get information anywhere so I was hoping someone here could help me out. My American girlfriend wants to come live in Ireland. Her job in America has ok'd her to work remotely from Ireland. But i don't know what type of Visa she needs. I don't think an L-1 Blanket VISA is required…

My American girlfriend wants to come live in Ireland. Her job in America has ok'd her to work remotely from Ireland.

But i don't know what type of Visa she needs. I don't think an L-1 Blanket VISA is required since it's not an intra-company transfer.

Also, do you actually have to go into the embasseys to meet them because they certainly never have anyone on the telephone numbers provided.

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
