Taking a cycle tour from Killiney-Dalkey-Dun Laoghaire-possibly Seapoint.
I was just wondering what the cycling terrain is like on this route in general but mainly the Killiney to Dalkey stretch?. Is it generally downhill, uphill or no real gradient to talk about?.

Where in Killiney? If you are heading from Killiney village, past Fitzpatricks hotel to Dalkey village, it is very much downhill.

If you are starting from Killiney station, you will have a long hill to climb up past Bono's place but once you get to the Vico Road there is a nice gentle downhill stretch to Dalkey.
