Has anyone come across this yet? It seems to be a forum searcher where it brings up results of what people are saying by their usernames. This is mine, for instance. Just thought I'd say it here in case the admins were interested in knowing of its existence, if they had not previously

    My name had no results...?

Only got 4 results for mine, 2 from boards, 2 somewhere else that isn't me, seems to respond to the name being in the text rather than posts by that name.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Using your real name on an internet forum actually increases your anonymity..

    I'm crying laughing here :p

There's just the the one result for me.

I took issue with being called "deluded" on a Boards thread.

Sure that's nothing, America thinks I'm "Insane" :pac:

    Some American, from your link..
This stuff is strangely fascinating to me. I think that OutlawPete is reasonably familiar with probability and accepts that mathematically the probability of a fair coin coming up heads is always 1/2, regardless of the coin's history. But (here's the delusion) he also believes in an additional force which he calls "the law of averages" (or maybe he calls it "the law of large numbers", I forget), which transcends mere mathematics, that inevitably "kicks in" and overrules the probabilities in certain situations. He can't say exactly when it will kick in, but sooner or later it does, you won't find it in a mathematics text but he knows about it from observing "real life".

Basically I think the law of averages is a religious concept for him, a kind of cosmic black box that nobody can analyze or explain, it just is. He needs to believe he has an edge over the rubes who put blinders on and restrict themselves exclusively to the realm of mathematics, and he has concocted a fantasy where he's understanding reality at a deeper level. Any attempt to convince him otherwise will be perceived as a personal attack (probably motivated by our jealousy of his superior understanding).

:pac: Can I join your gambling religion, Pete?

    :(

Sorry, we couldn't find any more results.

Suggestions: - Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
    - Try different keywords.

2 results, both boards, one a thread i posted in but it didnt show my posts, and one where someone mentioned that i'd already said something, but again it didnt show my post.

Hmm, seems my reputation doesn't precede me after all, though it did come up with an ad for "never-say-die houseplants". I can compete with a potted plant any day, dammit.

It gets worse, google turned up several sites where folks are plotting to kill you

The results are all rather old and haphazard for me.

Wow. Finding posts I made on other boards in around 2003 is odd. The only other guy calling himself Sarky I could find was also fond of breaking into drinks cabinets.
