Whats the current situation in the north now, since the VAT Has gone up there? Are there still bargains and is stuff still cheaper? And are People form the republic still going up there and spending?

I'd imagine the OP's logic in posting it here was because most people shop in the north because they feel they are getting ripped off down here.
