site + database = sandbox issue?

Sister has a blog with a terrible host, very slow etc She has new hosting with BlackKnight, i was thinking of just using the database on blackknight, but im not sure if there will be sandbox issues, it asks to add local domains whats the best way to tackle this?

I would get on the phone to Blacknight and ask them directly. Any time I've had to contact them they have been very helpful.

You can access a database on our servers from an external server - you just need to enable it via the backend, though it would make more sense to host the entire thing with us ..
