Brush to talk about Phil Lynott.

The RTE FB page was inundated (quite rightly) with comments slating RTE for not doing a tribute to Philo on the 25th anniversary of his passing.

A small item on the radio was the height of it.

Maybe this is RTE's attempt at damage limitation?

    Wow, Brush.

He's like the lads they have on in the Olympia supporting the main act in order to keep you buying drink in the theatre bars.

He's worse actually. If he came in and said he'd play in my pub for free, I'd say no.

I don't warm to women who try to be too witty. Don't hate me.

Thanks, I thought it wasn't me alright. I'm sitting at home, it'd be hard to be on the TV live at the same time.

Who is doing the lap of honour?

I actually like Brush, a nice chap.

He seems like a nice guy, but jesus the chap has no talent.. He cant play guitar, he's not a good singer... and he's not funny yet is on funny friday coincidentally with the chap in the band behind him .. who isnt funny either... I'd rather we had people on telly who were talented rather than those who are "friends" of RTE.. And I include Tubridy in that...

Poor show tonight... O'Connor always seems to have at least one "jaysus, cant believe he asked that" moment.. tubridy as an interviewer is just too choreographed... every word is pre-planned and interviews are very safe and boring..

this comment is bandied about ever week when the person on the show has only been on for a couple of minutes, not fair in some cases Brush has never drank, smoked or been on any type of drug so it's not fair to assume he was at the stash in the green room
