Its fitting that delamere gets the a decent laugh out of an audience which is notoriously stiff. It always seems the more talented the comedian the less they laugh, the more average and straightforward he is, the more they laugh.

For such a witty race, we do a sh1te line in comedians.

I wholeheartedly agree with the second part of your sentance.

especially when he's stealing brendan grace jokes.
    what a tit.

You know, normally people say that you need a bit more confidence to truly shine in life, and it's true in general. But with Neil Delamere... wayyyy too much confidence!!!

Neil Delamere is like a government training scheme/experiment trying to create a comedian/tv personality gone horribly, horribly wrong, with Franken-results that make the stuff of nightmares. If he hadn't been given the publicity by shows like The Panel so that some not-very-bright mingers come to his gigs he'd never have made it as a comedian. When you put a guy on public tv... the main part of his wages/fame paid for by your tv licence... there'll always be some people who come.

Before the show ends, and we meander any further-I think this claim that Tubbers was on the scratcher needs more investigation!

Bit of a shocker alright. I used to work in a Labour Exchange and if I was still there I would have been checking him out first thing Monday morning.

I used to think Neil was kinda funny at time.

I would love fried cabbage, new spuds and butter and a mug of milk. Must go to bed.

For all the years I've spent watching the Panel, this muppet has never made me laugh once. How did he become a comedian? Lucky dip??

I've never watched it? should I give it a go? Is it similar to Have I Got News For You?

    Afraid so.

Dara O'Briain struggled with Tubs and he's way funnier than Delamare. The last comedian I can remember being funny was Jimmy Carr and that was when Pat the plank was there.

And I think Pat enjoyed it. He went up a bit in my estimation that night, even if the Fritzl reference went over his head at first.

I can't stand that git. Jimmy Carr, I mean. And Pat the Plank was worse.

Only decent guests were John B Keanes son and Brian Dennehy - sound chaps. Rest were boring. Delamare in particular - useless and should never be let near a stage nevermind allowed on tv. Tubs doesnt help either - stupid questions.

A good host would draw these guests out and let the thing flow.

Gaybo, patronising, dictatorial, biased as he was, would have done that.

    No one has since.
