Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

anyone recommend anywhere to go? Not sure whether I am bringing the car or not so anywhere on the luas is good or around custom house quay etc.

Meeting a friend in town as she is staying in mine so said I would bring ym camera and tripod and go shooting a few night snaps (for the first time,)

    Thanks in advance.

If you cross the quays to the far side of the river you could get some nice long exposure shots of the custom house lit up. Some of the bridges give off some nice reflections in the liffey too. It's possible to just stick along the quay and get great shots. You could take a walk to Temple bar too for some nice night street shots.

[Edit] Erm, I didn't stick that thumbs down icon there!? Sorry,. just ignore that, must have hit it by accident.

Do both. if it's raining, offer to do a shoot back at yours. And moan that nobody ever poses nude for you. You never know!

If you're still heading out and it is raining, well, puddles are great for reflections.

Custom House, then further down to Samuel Beckett Bridge and then in to the Grand Canal Theatre, the Aviva Stadium can be seen from there and also the O2 wheel, fairly safe area if there is more than one of you, but you still need to keep an eye out, you can forget whats going on around you when concentrating on taking a photo.

I'm just in the door of the office after having walked from Tara Street. It's really quite miserable out and the rain is fairly heavy. I'd advise giving it a miss and heading out another time.
