    Hi guys, my brother-in-law has asked for my help building him a new rig for media & gaming.
    I would describe him as a casual user.
    I am experienced in building but I thought I'd ask for some advice as I am slightly out of the loop, last build was my trusted Q6600!
    He'd probably need everything except he could get monitor/speakers/OS/DVD drive/Keyboard & mouse himself. Let's assume he'd be using 1920x1080.
    I think the budget is between 500-700.

    He requested the following but it is changeable:
    i3 processor (Should meet his requirements)
    1gb graphics card (5850?)
    4gb ram,
    1tb hard drive.
    He also said 7.1 sound card but I think onboard would be just fine and saves a bit more cash.

    The help would be appreciated!
