Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dell dimension 9150 not starting properly

If anyone can help me with this would be great or point me to someplace that can.

Have had a problem with my dell dimension 9150 desktop for ages now. at first there was no signal getting to the monitor so i thought it was the graphics card or the monitor but tried them on other machines and they were fine.

Light 3 and 4 are on the front of the CPU and it meant that it could detect the RAM but couldn't use it. Took them (2 x 1GB) out and replaced them into each slot one at a time but still nothing. Lights turn on but still nothing on the monitor.

Not a clue what to do if there any ideas?

Also the power button stopped working today, when i say stopped working i mean it wont turn off, have to turn it off now at the plug.

Is it possible that the monitor cable's faulty?

sounds like a dodgy motherboard man, if so will need to be replaced.
