Hi guys, not sure if this is the right place to post this (mods feel free to move if necessary) - Myself and my better half have been thinking of enrolling our 18 month old in modelling as we feel (as every parent does I'm sure!) that our little one can really stand out as a real beauty!

Anyone with any experience, be it negative or positive, we'd really appreciate any advice on the topic!

    Thanks a lot!

There are a few more if you google it, but they are based in Dublin. Cant remember the names of them, with most you have to pay up front.

    Here is another site:

There's three reputable, top modeling agencies in Dublin.
I don't know if they take kids that young, but First Option have kids on the books. I was with them when I was younger, no complaints. http://www.1stoption.ie/
    Then there's Assets, http://assetsmodels.com/
And finally Morgan The Agency http://www.morgantheagency.com/

Be very careful if you get into dealings with other agencies, you should never have to pay a fee, nor do you need professional shots to send to them as an application.

Being involved in the industry for a lengthy period of time let me give you some advice,

firstly there are only a small number of reputable agencies that get alot of work. Google 'model agency ireland' and the agencies that appear on the first search page are the only one's you should contact. Most Dublin agencies will put children, toddlers and babies in their 'Commercial' section. Send a couple of pix into a few of the agencies. If an agency expresses interest do not get over excited because commericial work for children, especially babies is few and far between in ireland.
The agency will contact you if an opportunity arises for an advertisment where children are needed (brochures, TV, etc). You then bring your child along to the 'casting' where the client will take a quick look at your child and probably 20 other kids from the agency and other agencies.
If your child is picked you could get anything from 80 euro to 800 euro.

    Hope this helps.

They don't have to accept you. They will get back to you after your appointment or after you send in pictures, as far as I remember.

EDIT: Sorry mods, didn't realise it was a zombie!
