    Sweet jesus.

I don't know what's more tilting, our display or ESPNs commentary.

To be honest i'm delighted for Stevenage they are playing pretty well, and we are rubbish. Would be happy to get knocked out of the cup and concentrate on staying up.

Mercifully, ESPNs coverage just went down the ****ter. I don't think I could watch any more of this inexcusable garbage.

    ESPN sparing us.

17 years supporting this club, I can scarcely remember a worse display. Utterly embarrassing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    It's all Perch's fault.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

I sincerely hope we never see that bloody blue kit again. And for that matter, Alan Smith in our colours.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

He gets the ball but it's reckless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Christ a wreckless tackle from tiote he's off now

    Pardew out?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭bazual

does this mean he misses Sunderland, if so we are f*cked.

Off the ground and studs up was the problem there

Certainly won't help his cause. Not his fault his players have been so god awful though.

Not a red card either, bad tackle yes, no more then a yellow though.

Great tackle in fairness to the lad, he blatantly got the ball.

Marinner is never far away from controversy!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,821 ✭✭✭Dr.Winston O'Boogie

    Craig Burley is an idiot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Marinner must be the worst referee I have ever seen. Barry Knight seems like a genius in comparison to this clown.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    We should appeal that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,630 ✭✭✭steelcityblues

Listening on the radio, but the incident sounds reprehensible.

Maybe Joey Barton has given him some 'lessons'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,614 ✭✭✭The Sparrow

Nailed on Red Card. Dunno what the hell Craig Burley is on about.

He was about 6 inches off the ground and had no control. Unbelievable tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,235 ✭✭✭Dave147

Looked to me like his studs were facing the ball, fine tackle, crazy red card, Colos tackle was far worse.

Pathetic post. He won the ball. He was off the ground but he got the ball. It was reckless yes but doesn't warrant a red imo. Yellow at least.

    We should appeal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭bazual

Yellow at most, no studs showing as he was going down on the ball, would give a red if he didnt go near the ball but he got it cleanly before the stevenage player. I blame pardew for bringing him on, muppet.

What's downright amazing is how toothless we've looked upfront. We've barely looked like creating a chance, never mind scoring. Inexcusable against this opposition.

I hate the fuucking FA cup.

The same guy who was playacting at the end of the Wigan game?

Good player, but obviously not a model professional recently!

Attack the fcuking ball. Christ almighty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Ah lads, that was a poor tackle. Tiote thought he was Bruce Lee for a second there.

Immediate 3 match ban and rightly so, but, can't you appeal and therefore he'll still be able to play on Sunday?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,614 ✭✭✭The Sparrow

As far as I know, it doesn't say anything in the rules about getting the ball. It says that you have to be fully in control of a tackle and if not, it is a straight red card.

Tiote was completely in the air so how could he possibly be in control of his actions? If you mistime that tackle by a fraction, you can break a leg. Hence the red card.

If you appeal it'll be a further game added IMO.

It was a definite red card!! You can't go flying in like that with both feet off the gound and having no control of your body. Stupidy by Tiote.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

Does Krul actually practice kicking the ball? At all?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Should be 3.

I'd seriously have to question your knowledge of soccer if your saying thats a blatant red card?

He dived for the ball, he didn't go in two footed his other leg was behind him not even pointed towards the ball. He jumped in to get to the ball first and it was a good challenge, simple as.
