So I've been meaning to learn how to use SIMD instructions for some time now to help speed up my audio plugins.

Anyone much experience with using them? Any tips?

Yeah it's simple enough (although some things like shuffles and permutes can be a bit confusing). The alignment of the data you're loading from & storing to has to be correct, and it makes you think harder about your data layout, but that can only be a good thing.

I seem to remember there being a good tutorial on gamasutra.com, and I'm sure there are plenty of other ones out there.

Cheers, seems like a decent site.
