    Ive been wondering some small bands have managed to get a slot in festivals such as electric picnic or oxegen and im wondering how would u go about gettin a slot in either festival??

    Walk before you run....try getting a gig at knockanstockan, which is a festival for unsigned acts, and great craic too by the way.

    You're better off doing smaller local festivals first.

    But if you honestly think you're good enough, here's a quote from the website:

    "We are currently not booking. Demos should be posted to the Head of OXEGEN Booking, MCD, 7 Park Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin".

    You would want to start demoing and giving out promo packs this year for the next one in 2012
