    Its hardly going to be an effective system if they park in full view so Mr Speedy can slow down before he gets caught.
    Afaik they are not allowed park on private property so gateways are not allowed and the hard shoulder is also out as it would be unsafe. The only places these vans can park up legally are lay-bys and where the grass verge(owned by the council) is wide enough to park on.

    Yeah I meant gateways to fields. In one of the google map links above where I posted they always park along there.
