Level 5 Progression...

    How do I go about going from a Level 5 Course to a university course ...

    Basically at the moment I am studying Journalism and its Level 5 and it finishes in May and I want to do Media Studies in NUIM in September 2011.

    Is this possible ... any help would be very much appreciated :D

    As far as Iknow you fill in a CAO form. There is a section for other information and mature student(if it applies) where you fill in your information. have a look at www.cao.ie

    Not all universities accept Fetac 5 on applications, you would need to check on their website that it is an acceptable qualification. Also some ITs have links with FE courses and accept Fetac, so it would be worth enquiring at the college you are in at the moment.
