Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The game that pretty much kick started the RTS genre as we know it.

I just read the title of the following thread...

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?threadid=2056149703

...as a Zerg noob asking for advice on his Hatch 14 build...:D

When "pool" makes you think of Zerg before swimming.

When you rewrite the words to popular songs to include SC2 puns,

All I do is ling, ling, ling no matter what
got minerals on my mind I can never get enough
and every time I turn them into banelings,
    everybody's army blows up

When you dream about SC2 (anyone else? >.>).

    Banelings anyone?

I know I watch too much starcraft when I dont need an alarm clock anymore to wake up for some GSL!

I dreamed I was playing Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes, which I had been reading) as Protoss and him as Zerg, we were in an endgame situation of some sort with me killing spore crawlers with DTs when I found Hobbes at one of his hatcheries and held him hostage.

He had to GG then! :D

In lectures yesterday, one lecturer was casually referring to boundary conditions by "b.c." on the board. Kept thinking he was talking about battlecruisers.

Slightly more obscure, but another lecturer pronounces "Rydberg" like "reaper". I was massively confused when I first heard it.

Lol.... when the urinal in a bathroom flushes, I don’t see water swirling–I see a chrono-boosted Nexus. :D

Some friends went on holiday recently and told me they took so much cocaine they had the DTs by the end of it.
Wondered for a second how they got Dark Templars in Alicante.

The word "Nexis" was used in a class today - next 10 minutes were spent imagining playing Starcraft (and doing well so definately all in my head!)

When I was in an economics lecture recently, the lecturer asked what is macro and I immediately thought "build pylons, build probes" :D
