Any inexpensive way of Data Roaming?

Hi I'm with O2 post pay? Is there any other way of using the data on my phone whilst in the Uk and not pay the crazy €4.96 per mb? How many boards pages would use a Mb? Any advice please?

free data, call and text roaming on 3, don't think there's any cheaper way on o2.

Moving to Vodafone bill or using a 3Pay sim for the data are the obvious ways forward. O2 gouge you even while using their own networks elsewhere.

Use a bit of data at home and then check your online account to see how many Kb/Mb this was. This would give you an idea.
