Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Their salaries make no sense.

    2 Michael Bisping* $ 885,000
    4 Rashad Evans $ 785,000
    ...
    15 Cain Velasquez * $ 390,000
    17 Mauricio Rua $ 315,000
    20 Josh Koscheck * $ 259,000

Wow, wouldn't have expected Michael Bisping to have made so much even though he fought three times. BJ Penn even fought three times and made 200K less.

And James Toney got half a million for that one fight

Don't worry, they're all getting bonuses not included there, some of them very big bonuses. Velasquez, Evans and Koscheck all would have made a lot more than what's listed there because they were in the main events of three of the biggest shows this year

Lesnar would be way ahead of Bisping in actual terms too, he didn't get any win bonus for beating Carwin so he would have received some other sort of bonus, and he also gets a cut of the PPV, and he headlined two 1 million-plus shows last year so that's going to be a massive bonus

iirc it's done in terms of who can pull a biggest draw in terms of TV revenue.

Bisping is hated over in the US and the UK fans want to see him do well. Win win.

BJ also lost twice taking out a decent chuck of cash as a win bonus.
Bisping fought 3 times, for 2 wins on biggish cards.
    1 Georges St-Pierre * $ 900,000 2-0
    2 Michael Bisping* $ 885,000 2-1
    3 Brock Lesnar $ 875,000 1-1
    4 Rashad Evans $ 785,000 2-0
    5 Rampage Jackson* $ 750,000 1-1
    6 B.J. Penn * $ 680,000 1-2
    7 Matt Hughes* $ 560,000 2-1
    8 Anderson Silva * $ 520,000 2-0
    9 Chuck Liddell $ 500,000 0-1
    10 James Toney $ 500,000 0-1
    11 Randy Couture $ 500,000 2-0
    12 Mirko Cro Cop* $ 460,000 2-1
    13 Lyoto Machida* $ 400,000 0-2
    14 Wanderlei Silva* $ 400,000 1-0
    15 Cain Velasquez * $ 390,000 2-0
    16 Chris Leben $ 316,000 3-0
    17 Mauricio Rua $ 315,000 1-0
    18 Matt Serra* $ 300,000 1-1
    19 Junior dos Santos $ 260,000 3-0
    20 Josh Koscheck * $ 259,000 1-1

When you look at the records for 2010, Bisping is much less surprising.
Brock, Chuck and Machida did well for themselves in payouts
JDS is clearly still on a ****ty debut contract.
