Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Crashed my car on a motorway in france of all places, :(
anyways its a 2004 Seat ibiza, 67,000 miles.
all damage is at rear-boot,bumper, chasis.
car is advertised about 3500 online, so guessing 3000 value.
will cost same to fix, where should i look to sell it? car breaker only option? any scrappage schemes?

    thanks in advance all

Breakers might give €100 scrap metal price or a bit more if it has saleable parts (and is in Ireland).
The government scrappage scheme has been extended until 30th June 2011 but you'll have to buy a brand new car to get it.

Did you buy it from your insurer?

    Just to be clear here,

you are saying the car is valued at 3,000 ( based on asking prices of 3,500)

repairs will be at least 3,000

therefore value technically will be zero...
anything up to 500 and i tink u doing well
