Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know if it's ok to put a forward facing car seat in the front of my van because I can't find a way to turn the airbag off.

Should airbags be turned off for forward facing seats in the passenger seat?

When people have an accident they are left black and blue from the airbag, now imagine how a small baby would fare....

yeah was just confirming that - do you know if I'm able to turn the passenger airbag off on the kangoo? I can't find where to. The manual talked about having a key to turn in the glove box or close to it but theres none in there..

I thought you were only supposed to turn off the airbag for rear facing child seats?

There's a van and a passenger version of it, I'd say the passenger version has the key to disable and the van version doesn't.

You should turn it off for any child under 12 apparantly as the force of the airbag can cause damage, the younger the child the worse it can be. Its also legal to carry a child in the front of a commercial once they have the proper child seat.

On a side note does anybody know if a Ford Focus van 05+ has such an option? I could be inline to drive one soon and would be handy too know if the disable option existed.

Ah, I have the van version. That's really annoying not being able to carry him as a passenger.

    Thanks for the info guys
