    I am a fan of obscure culinary art and I have been wondering if there is a market for body sushi in Waterford actually. Its a Japanese tradition obviously. Basically the sushi is served on the semi-naked body of a woman but its not an erotic thing. Men and women take part and there is a whole big ritual to it also. I have never seen it anywhere in Ireland actually not even Dublin or Cork. I have to admit though my Death-row meal would have to involve some sort of roasted game bird like quail or maybe ortolan if I could get my hands on it.

    I haven't for the simple reason that I could not afford it at the time, I was on a 3 wk whistle stop tour Japan when I came accross it and I couldnt justify stretcing my budget to the point where I was paying 40,000 Yen for sharing one meal. But this is where my curiosity kicks in you see - I'm sure we could do it cheaper here in Waterford because most of the costs go toward the model or whatever you want to call her (the plate :o). I mean they are very well paid for that kind of work in Japan but reckon it could be cheaper here in the present climate. She wouldn't even have to be oriental looking.

    How much would would you say an Irish girl would charge to let the likes of us eat fish off her?

    Oh I see where this is going. Don't get me wrong now it would not have to be a girl - as I stated this is not an erotic thing you could easily use a man.

    Oh I know yeah, am just wondering how much would a model be able to make. It would also be interesting to see how many people would be willing to try this.

    Funnily enough this would be something I would do if available. I'm a Sushi nut and I enjoy Asian culture, I tried to read the Art of War once or twice but it's serious hard going. Must look into going to Japan.
