Dont suppose they're changing the settings so that you can manage the graphics settings BEFORE you deploy.

For that whole one time you do it

I had to go in there a couple of times and I only pplayed the beta a couple of times. Had to tinker with some settings. Try and get the most out of my year and half old card. Even changing button configs/mappings forced you into deploying and then hitting esc and then changing the settings. I see no reason for it and it's rather poor menu/UI design.

    Must...tear...plastic...
Also: That simulator thing looks awesome, load up some Skyrim on it and get into shape. 5 HD projectors though... imagine when the bulbs on all of them need to be replaced!

Even if they don't change it you will most likely be able to change tweak the settings while in single player which isn't ideal either but a workaround.

    That simulator is absolutely savage!

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,017 ✭✭✭Doge

That simulator is exactly the perfect simulator I dreamed of a few years back,
in fact i made a post on another forum about such a thing,
but I couldn't think of how you could implement some sort of 360 degree threadmill thingy for movement.

Obviously many people would have thought up this idea, as it is a fairly logical thing to think of.

Anyone going to the gamestop midnight opening to pick up their pre-order?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,013 ✭✭✭✭Wonda-Boy

Simulator is just a UBER WET DREAM, should have that is arcades for €20 a round....clean up they would.

As for Gamestop mid night launch I might stroll down alright.

Nice headset however for about €20- €30 less you can have a set of G35s, both superb headsets, just FYI :)

    I had the G930, Dcully

They had their problems, logitech drivers were crap

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,775 ✭✭✭Spacedog

I have G35 also, drivers were crapola indeed, kept crashing out etc.

In August logitec released all new gseries drivers that control most G series devices from one app, including the G35. it's a lot more stable/user friendly too.

it's a lot better for handling macros and G buttons too.

I have the fatal1ty series headsets, after selling off my USB Razer Megalodon headset. Good quality and detachable microphone is a plus for me.

Have them myself too. Since I keep on falling asleep with them on the cable at the headphone as well as the remote is coming apart. :( . Think I might have invest in a new pair soon.

I have the same headset. I bought it a few months back.

I think it is fair to say that it is the best "gaming" headset that can also fit into the much lauded audiophile bracket.

It truly is a thing of beauty in my opinion and ever so comfortable.

You pay a bit extra, but if it lasts as long as my last sennheiser headset (3 years, still working just a bit tatty now) then it will have repaid itself.

The bass is much improved over its little brother the 350 as well.
