Condensing Gas Boiler Leaking

We have a condensing gas boiler that has been leaking slowly and dripping out of the bottom of the boiler. The engineer took a look and said it was a faulty seal on the flue causing condensation to get back into the boiler rather than going out of the flue. So ordered the seal and switched off the boiler until it arrived (leaving us with no hot water or heating for 6 days). He came back yesterday to replace the seal and service the boiler. All good. Then we put the heating on last night, the boiler started making a banging noise and water started pouring out the front. The water that was pouring out was fresh looking water rather than the rusty water that had been previously dripping.
The company servicing the boiler seem to be passing the buck and are saying that it is a fault with the flue and they shouldn't really be fixing this. Who fixes the flue? Any advice?
We have had heating on and off for the last month as the first guy came in took the boiler apart and we haven't seem him since. We thought the second guy might be better. How hard can it be to fix a boiler?

There are a lot of cowboys in that business . You should make sure the engineer is RGI registered. Try their website for someone near you.
