Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It would seem that not every Muslim is a would-be suicide bomber :)

Muslims turned up in droves for the Coptic Christmas mass Thursday night, offering their bodies, and lives, as “shields” to Egypt’s threatened Christian community

We either live together, or we die together,” was the sloganeering genius of Mohamed El-Sawy, a Muslim arts tycoon whose cultural centre distributed flyers at churches in Cairo Thursday night, and who has been credited with first floating the “human shield” idea.

There's a lesson there. No matter how much talking we can do, defending our faith etc, Nothing beats action. That one action by these Muslims sent a bolt to my heart. I could have spent a thread arguing with Muslims over whether the violence thing is encouraged or discouraged etc. Yet that one action spoke volumes. Yes of course their are religious nuts everywhere, but no matter how much we try be guarded against propaganda, negative news items etc, a bit of 'Them feckin muslims, or protestants, or catholics or whatever' can slip in. Well done Ismael, for both your courage and letting the world know that we can live together:)
