Copy/Cut and Paste Help

    Hoping someone someone can help me here, for the last month or so anytime i copy/cut and paste anything (except text) it takes a few minutes for it to appear whether that be a folder, file or video, also when i go to create a new folder on the desktop that too takes a few minutes before it shows up, i cant explain this, im using Windows 7 X64 and everything was ok up to last month, anyone have any ideas?
