Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Like a lot of people I am wanting to get rid of the sky sub.

Am a big fan of the rte player / 4od and had the computer connected to the tv recently via hdmi and the quality wasn't bad at all. Very watchable.

I am wondering is it possible to get a freesat box that would connect to a wireless network and allow internet access to allow access to the above?

Maybe keep the pc connect to the Tv for you internet access and then connect your SKY dish to you pc by use of a DVB-S2 card or USB to give yourself you Freesat :) HTPC FTW:)

    Thanks MoodeRator.
Will read up on it. How would that work? Wireless mouse/keyboard or a remote control?

As Fat fingers kindly pointed out there are some very helpful people over in the HTPC forum. I am just in the process of setting my own up. Just waiting on delivery of my DVB-s card. Whilst waiting I am playing mith Windows Media Centre, Media Portal and tonight will be XBMC to see which set up I prefer to run with.
