Car Brakes thuddering noise after 3 weeks

Hi, I came back from holidays after nearly 3 weeks and started the car, it started fine but the brakes are gving a thuddering noise when applied. any idea if its simply hat they havent been used for so long? reason I'm asking is that when I drove a different car after the same amount of time it seemed to be the same…

Hi, I came back from holidays after nearly 3 weeks and started the car, it started fine but the brakes are gving a thuddering noise when applied. any idea if its simply hat they havent been used for so long?

reason I'm asking is that when I drove a different car after the same amount of time it seemed to be the same initially but it went away after driving it for a few days
