Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I notice some programs last night had a kind of inane commentry alongside the normal audio...

    Shameless on C4HD
    Another prog on BBC HD

    Stuff like
"Joe puts the item down and walks towards the door".

Is this a disability / access feature ? How do I disable it? Where did it come from - broadcaster? or my STB (VU+ Duo)

    Many thanks

It's the audio description service for those with poor vision. It should be possible to disable - on my Freesat system there's an AD button to enable/disable it.

On the Vu+, press Audio and then select 'Dolby Digital' (the audio description is carried on MPEG).

To avoid having to continually select Dolby Digital:

Menu->Setup->System->AV Settings->Dolby digital default set to 'yes'
