Can anyone recommend someone to repair a washing machine or would buying a new one be cheaper?

    Should of used calgon.
Washing machines live longer with Calgon!

    I'm sorry I couldn't resist. A quick google brings up http://www.vinnysrepairs.com/

Other than that I really have no idea

Thanks for the replies everyone but I went out cycling for two hours this morning and in that time my dad bought a new one, really wish he hadn't as I get a discount in Currys.

washing machine repair has been something i've been thinking of getting into as an extra earner in these recessionary times. Is there a demand in the KK area does anybody know? I used to repair them as a nixer fado fado.............

If it makes you a couple of quid and has low costs, why wouldn't you do it? I'd love to fix bikes in my spare time but I don't think I could burn my bridges with the local bike shop.
