Something to watch tonight for everyone who doesn't pay for TV.

    KO 7.45

    BBC preview
West Ham manager Avram Grant will make changes to strengthen his side for the Carling Cup semi-final first leg.

Scott Parker, Matthew Upson, Carlton Cole and Frederic Piquionne are among those expected to be restored to the starting line-up.

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish rested seven first-teamers for their victory at Millwall and is likely to make sweeping changes once again.

Matt Derbyshire could be in contention following his brace at the New Den.

Fantastic. Had no idea this was on bbc2 at all. Fancy West Ham to maybe sneak it tonight. 2-1.

No Beausejour or Derbyshire, what a disappointing selection. We are going to park the bus.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,346 ✭✭✭blindpilot

Wish the BBC lads would get the names right. Sears has been called Spector and Obinna has been called Piquionne so far.

    Foster is just so bad.

Brum defence is awful. They had 6 in the box there and just stood looking at it. Nice goal though.

Dann has been dreadful sometimes this season. Should not be getting the praise he is.

    Foster is just so bad.

Not really, he was completely blindsighted for that

A keeper shouldn't be getting beaten on the inside post like that.

Dann blocked his sight, he had no chance. Has been one of the top three keepers in the Premiership this year.

If Dann had gone for the ball instead just standing in front of him he would have had a better chance. Not a lot he could do imo.

    West Ham dominating.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Well, you could argue that it's a 'keepers job to not allow his line of sight to be obscured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,346 ✭✭✭blindpilot

Good save there by Foster. West Ham look the better team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Cup semi final and Brum don't look arsed.

You would hardly know Fahey is played. has had no influence on the game, can not remember him even touching the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

West Ham have been excellent, Parker brilliant in his box to box role as usual, forwards are looking lively enough. Birmingham are hopeless on the otherhand though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,346 ✭✭✭blindpilot

Surely Birmingham got a right bollockin at half time. Expect a little more form them this half. Their midfield was anonymous in the first half.

    Absolute stupidity from Obinna there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,532 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Did Obinna get sent off at the weekend?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

I can't believe he did that, no pressure whatsoever and West Ham were still well in the game.

Obinna had his back to Larsson and he threw a donkey kick back at him.

As Upson threw the ball into play Obinna threw a kick back at Larsson and caught him right in the sack. Unbelievably stupid.

Try this one when you've caught up. Its about 5-10 seconds behind.

That last goal was one of the best I've ever seen, pity the finish was so disgusting, they'll have to cut it out of all behind-time streams and highlights.

Match to go to extra time with the Hammers getting a late goal.

You absolute gob$hite Obinna. Out for 3 games now for being a selfish twat. Be lucky to keep it at 1-1 at this stage. I knew the host of missed first half chances would cost us. Should have been at least 2-0 up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,953 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

I had to refresh and the stream skipped the goal and the red card. :(
