Arsenal need to get rid of Arshavin. Another game where he is playing like he couldn't give a ****.

You're all wrong, it was definitely offside.

Wenger will know he still has 120 minutes to win the tie.

    Nice one, Jamie!

But he's gorgeous can't have everything.

Can Arsenal just get rid of The lanky Dane, he's useless.

And leave the diminutive Russian alone.

This is typical fcuking Arsenal, getting routed by a bloody championship side, and absolutely no conviction from any of the god damn players. Arshavin and Bendtners work rates in particular are shocking. There's no feeling of urgency, no pressure, they're not closing down or doing anything properly. Disgusting.

All credit to Ipswich though, they've done fantastically to come back from the drudging they got at Chelsea to put on a performance like that.

Really don't think he has been that good this season.

    Get Thierry on imo

He's been watching too much Arsenal.

Ipswich should be winning/ Terrrible from Kos that he couldn't read as easy a long ball over the top as that.

Not just fab though. Arsh gibbs to name 2

**** sake arsenal. Have to work tomorrow with an ipswich fan too,

If Ipswich had any kind of decent striker they'd be at least 2 goals up.

    Yeah bendtner off!

Yup, no matter what he might do in the final 20, he's been shocking.

It's all very well people slagging off Bendtner but Fabregas and Wilshere should be a cut above everyone tonight in terms of passing and possession and they haven't been.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,320 ✭✭✭sonic85

    chesney was very lucky there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,174 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

Wilshere did ok I thought. Not amazing but I wouldn't single him out for being shíte.

This is gas. Arsenal are an absolute mess at the back and could EASILY be 3-0 down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

You'd have to wonder why we persisted with playing such a high line considering their one tactic has been to play it over the top for Priskin. Bad management compounded by underperforming players.

    Offside FFS

Chesney, though he hasn't been particularly good, lucky to still be on and has had some poor positioning.

fully deserved. our players need a huge kick in the ar$e - like someone said earlier the likes of fab wilshere and arshavin should be lording it in games like these. very disappointing

WHY THE FÚCK ARE WE STILL PLAYING SUCH A HIGH LINE! THEY HAVE ONE FÚCKING TACTIC AND WE'RE PLAYING RIGHT INTO THEIR HANDS!

Because then we'd have to have an absolutely massive gap between the midfield and defence?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,137 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Djourous positioning has been diabolical. How many times has Priskin been through 1 on 1 with Kos because Djourou was caught up the pitch.

The decision to start Bendtner, the decision to leave Arshavin on for so long and a very poor performance from Fab, who won't impress many in the Camp Nou, are whats to blame for tonights loss.

Both teams got exactly what they deserved.

Wonder exactly how much the Arsenal squad was paid to scrape a draw against Leeds and lose to Ipswich this week?

Also, not sure what has me more annoyed: The fact Arsenal were so bad or that they just started looking like they gave a sh1t once they went behind.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

    **** that

We will still get to the final but **** that

I'd rather that that the constant giant gap behind our defence which cost us a goal.

    Pathetic performance.

we only play one way and that involves playing a high line. wenger wont change his tactics anytime soon.

I see your point about the chances we gave away... but in fairness, they got the line bang on that time.

It took a poor decision from the linesman to put Priskin in a position where our CBs weren't going to chase him down again.
