    De Gea saves the day.

    Another great save!

Looks like it's only a matter of time before Ronaldo scores.

Di Maria's shítehawking is a pain to watch.

    Forgot about this match.

Flashscores is definitely broken. It says Madrid have scored but it wasn't Ronaldo.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,511 ✭✭✭SK1979

Benzema is a lazy f*ck too. He doesn't look bothered at all.

    Ramos scored

Or am I missing a punch line here?

That can't be right. It was probably Ronaldo. Are you sure you're watching the right match?

My stream is having the same trouble, it's so far behind it hasn't even shown Ronaldo's hat trick yet.

I wonder how many attempted shots Ronaldo averages a game? He must be after hitting 7 or 8 already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

    Better from Atletico.

Ronaldo averages 1.7 shots a match, while managing to average 2.2 goals a match.

    Ronaldo - better than mathematics.

After that Arsenal Ipswich rubbish last night this match and Barca last night has been great.

I love Spanish footie, but my God is it hard to ref.

True, I wonder how well Mathematics would do on a wet night in Stoke?

Anyone would look good in a team supported by Physics and Chemistry. The only way to test him is to take him out of that team and see if he can still put in the same kind of equations, til then I'm not convinced.

Yeah but Mathematics isn't his team's designated penalty taker which makes his goal tally more remarkable than Ronaldo's.

De Gea's handling on the ground isn't great...

    a bit like G Bale;)

And that's why Ozil is undroppable, even for Kaka.
Ronaldo's leaving his scoring a bit late this time, he'll be cutting it close for the fourth.

I feel physics has damaged his reputation by failing to adhere to his own laws and going down too easy.

How did the ref not see that pull by Alonso? It was literally right smack in front of him!

Does the commentator have money on athletico or something?

No, he's calling it correctly, as he should. Good commentator is Gibbo.

Bit of a late tackle from Ronaldo.:P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,476 ✭✭✭✭Ush1

    Nice tackle from Cristiano.

    Certainly looks fired up tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Could've easily seen red for that...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,953 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Pin perfect pass from Alonso there!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,511 ✭✭✭SK1979

    Filthy tackle from Ramos.

Doesn't Kiko Sanchez Flores look like House? :o

He does! He is House mixed with Phil Brown. That's what I always think anyway...

This referee is a bit of a nutter no?

Delighted. Plenty of scummy tackles went in tonight from Real. Hope its uncharacteristic from Alonso, really like him..

    Most Spanish refs are.

Not since he came to Real, remember some really sly ones against Barca last season.

Real Madrid really missing Higuain, they need to get a proper striker in Jan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,789 ✭✭✭nicklauski

Ref is having a bit of a nightmare to be fair. Tackles flying in and not even a free kick, never mind a card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,953 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Ozil will never get an easier goal than that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,476 ✭✭✭✭Ush1

    Atleti are mad predictable.:pac:

    Good finish from the German.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,511 ✭✭✭SK1979

When Ronaldo didn't pull off the 1-2, the Athletico defender kindly set him up.....

The last goal i can see coming back to hurt them, but i wouldn't call it anywhere near over just yet. Athleti put up a better fight than i expected and if they can do the same in the next leg they will stand a chance.

Also just as the commentators pointed out that Real use the CL ball in the cup games, some great thinking there from Mou to get them used to the different ball, thinking outside the box as usual.

Another goal for Ronaldo tonight, thats 32 this season ,23 in the league, and 65 in 63 matches since joining Real.Phenomenal.
It took Big Ron 93 matches to reach that record and Ruud Van 95 matches.
However some of the goals he has been getting lately have been helped by shocking defending and non existant marking. Its as if teams want him to score .
Good and all La Liga is ,it would be nice to see teams wise up a bit and maybe manmark him or at least mark him from set pieces.

Atleti have to be the most suicidal team there is. They go to the Bernabeu, put in a good peformance and then throw it away as ever.

Good atmosphere where I was, I was right next to the away support and I was supporting Atleti. Good fans, all thought they disgraced themselves during the minutes silence. Some ex-Madrid player called Juanito died this week in a car crash (from what I could gather, so I may be wrong), throughout the minutes silence the Atleti fans were chanting 'Juanito died, sucking cock.'

Cheating and corruption wins the day again it seems.

I cannot watch that shower anymore. The amount of decisions they get and not get against them absolutely sickens me to the pit of my stomach.

I will watch them get beat at least twice more this seaosn by Barca though.
