Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im trying to fix my brothers pc Emachines t5230, the sound on it is dragging or breaking up. Also the drive keeps reading even though im doing nothing with it, not sure if they are related.

Im on my second system restore, ive tried uninstall and reinstall the audio drivers off the makers site. There was one driver I couldn’t get that was called soundman, but this isn’t listed on emachines site.

I checked with him and he said he didn’t install anything or do anything with the pc. Thanks for any help or ideas!

Just to be sure: it's not a crackling that you're hearing, right? It's more of a start-stop thing, as in, it starts, then shops for a few seconds, then starts again, and so on. Would that be correct?

No its more lagging, like its playing normal then goes mad slow then goes between normal and lagging.
