Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Overheating Amplifier

I have a Harman Kardon HK970 amplifier bought in 2007 which has recently started overheating. The stand it is on allows suffucient ventilation, and there is nothing sitting on top of it.

I removed the cover, and it can be clearly seen on the underside of the cover on the left hand side that there has been some pretty severe overheating. Wondering if there is anyone here who may have some idea of what might be causing it, and if it is worth trying to get fixed.

Turn down the volume, and or check your speaker ohm rating and that they're wired correctly.
