Im not generally one to speak ill of the dead but after reading that Irish Examiner report it would seem that the world is certainly a better place without one of those individuals in particular.

Its a fine example of natural selection doing its thing, and from the article they don't seem like 2 people who are worth sympathy. Definitely worth a Darwin award though, just how thick and stupid do you have to be to pull your car over and start a fight in the middle of a motorway?

The two who died may not be deemed worthy of sympathy based on their records, but I would have preferred for them to have had their Darwin award moment in a manner that did not impact upon the two gardai who hit them.

Hitting living people with a car, especially if you were driving in a safe responsible manner, has to be a horrific experience and one that will stay with the driver for the rest of his life, and most likely with his passenger as well.
