Hi there I am looking for some help on trying to find some work experience in occupational therapy. I am currently looking into applying for an OT postgrad in the UK. I have tried to get in contact with my local health board about getting work experience but have not been able to get a hold of anyone!I am also looking for any tips for my personal statement so if anyone has any info would be great! Thanks guys!

    Hi there.

Write to the OT department of your local hospital and request a placement. Explain your situation and if they cannot help you ask who can.
Is there a Community OT in your area? Find out and ask them if they would be happy for your accompany them once or twice.
    Good luck!:)

    Hi LOC,

There are a tonne of websites out there that give advice on writing personal statements for Uni. Here are two example OT ones that I found with a quick google search. Obviously you can't use them but they might give you an idea of what sort of stuff you should include.
