Alright lads, am only a beginner and would be looking for some in around the 100 bracket... dont know much at all about blading, so any help at all is appreciated!

Thanks man, whats the difference between the frame on that one, and the kind of triangular shaped one?

thats a flat frame setup, anti rocker wheels in the middle. the longer v cut is a freestyle frame. more grinding groove and less obstruction.

both have different pros and cons. have a look at the frames on the site and you will see a lot of difference in the middle grooves.

those 'V' ones are called freestyle frames.

I have to say, I dont rate razer skates at all. Even with that budget, look into a pair of xsjados. You can get older models off of wreckless here for something near that price bracket you were asking.

I just got a pair myself and i can safely say so far i thnk they are the best skates i've skated since i started back in 1994

From my research the first pair are worth the extra 30 or so, more comfortable, lighter, longer life.

They are my exact skates. Only i dont have the mook freestyle frames on them. I have featherlite 2 frames on em instead.

They are super light skates and they are amazing for grinds.

No offence taken, each to their own. I got them and they are good for starting off, a pair im not afraid to bate around the place. When they last me till im more capable my budget will be better. The XSJADO Stockwell 08 with shipping will be 135, which is something he has to consider along with the limited sizes. Either way he will be stoked with a new pair of blades, as i am :-)
