Is this the list Gronk is on too?
The various lists confuse me

No Gronk is on the PUP list, in order to be eligible for the PUP list you need to have missed all of training camp due to a football related injury. If Gronk is kept on PUP for the final roster submission, then he can't return until after week 6 of the season.

But if he is taken off the PUP list for the final roster submission, then he will be eligible to play from week 1. If the team thinks he might be good to go for week 3 or 4, then they might take him off PUP. Personally I want to keep him on PUP and have him when we need him.

Just to get back to Armstead earlier, the Reserve/NFI (non-football related injury list) It is litterally what it means = the injury or ill health was not casued by or related to football. in Armstead's case, remember he got some nasty staph infection. Hence he goes on the NFI list.

EDIT: Here's a link that breaks it all down for you. I think most of us confuse ourselves half the time anway. So I wouldn't worry about you being confused.

Soooo, if Armstead starts the season on NFI does that mean he will certainly miss the first 6 games?

Yes, he can't come back until after week 6.

I was looking at both guys hang time and Mesko clearly wins. I never saw the need for him to be facing competiton anyway. Ghost was the man who should have had the competition this year imo.

True. It was all a question of the talent available in the free agent market though. Allen should probably have been drafted, so it was a no-brainer to bring him in for a look. There just didn't seem to be the same talent in rookie kickers this year.

If there's any trade value for Mallet at the end of the season, then we should take it.
Far too inconsistent again tonight. He's not Tebow bad, but if Tom goes down, we are done.

I thought he started iffy, but he was sound enough on that last drive, 12 plays & 82 yards. He seems to need to find a rhythm.

Fúck ya, great throw & TD. And finally Washington flashed some return ability.

That interception by Prince that was overruled was bullcrap. We're even now for the two Super Bowls.

No, not even, preseason is meaningless. His left hand was ruled to have just gone out of bounds, before his first knee even came down.

No, not even, preseason is meaningless.

    It was obviously a joke.
His left hand was ruled to have just gone out of bounds, before his first knee even came down.

    Which it wasn't.

Yes I know, I was just covering my bases in case we lose. Of course if we win it won't be meaningless. :P

I agree, it was close and I thought the glove was just inside.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

I thought the glove was out.
Not sure he maintained control either by the time he was fully out of bounds.

    Either way, poor throw.

Not going to evaluate much in the 2nd half.

I didn't see enough replays of the Int, but the glove looked to be just inside to me. But if it was out like they said it was? Then is must have been by a fingernail. The whole losing control of the ball business can be a bit farcical at times. Some calls are very clear and are the right call. But others are ridiculous and really marginal.

That young UDFA Winn has been running the ball very well all night.

Our special teams unit has been totally dire at times this preseason.

We'll only carry two QB's into the regular season. We've only had two in the pre-season.
The Tebow thing has become a joke. Wasted reps for any of those on offence while he's been on the field.
A sack waiting to happen on so many plays.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

He is so slow in his decision making, looks like he might go into headless chicken mode again. 4 sacks already and he needs the WR's to be waving a flag at him before he knows who to throw to.

The real worry is that this is the form he displayed in training camp, and yet wasn't cut, and got significant playing time (and sucked each time).
Josh needs to let it go, it reflects very poorly on him.

Washington makes one good run all preseason and then he fumbles and losses possession for us.

    Bye bye Leon.

    I think so.

3 shocking pass attempts in a row, the crowd are now booing Tebow.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

Nice by Sims, who is prob gonna get cut.
He's one of those guys who's suffered with Tebow Time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

And he just made Tebow look good.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

Oh my ..... That was just awful.
How does a QB make such a poor throw?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Terrible, terrible, terrible. He is not fixable.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

So under thrown that Dobson could even try pass interference to prevent the INT.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

    Nice again by Sims.
Would like to have seen him more with the 1st string guys.

It wasn't a bad throw from Tebow, but it's like Russian roulette with him.

Well that prediction is turning into a piece of ship.

Fells, Ballard and Benard all cut in the last 30 minutes
