Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As a complete newbie to HDR, and to the IOP.

Is it a case of turn and take HDR shots?
    or
Turn up and someone will explain how to take HDR shots?

    Cheers
    Danny

    Hi Danny,

number one we're going to show you a great location for HDR and number 2 we'll show you how to set the camera up to get the exposure bracketed shots necesary, whether your camera has Auto Exposure Bracketing or not. For processing we recommend the settings as outlined by Trey Ratcliffe of Stuck in Customs for Photomatix: http://www.stuckincustoms.com/hdr-tutorial-part-2/

We're also running a HDR Masterclass before the shoot that will outline in detail my own HDR Worklfow,

    Dave

I know most boardsie's are not fans of HDR but this was an enjoyable trip.

I enjoyed the meetup yesterday, Good turn out, and a nice place to visit.
Was my first time at that location and first attempt at any kind of HDR.

Learn the basics about best way to Stablize a tripod.
Sounds simple but the advise had definitly helped me.

Dave was impressive with his knowledge in knowing each camera models menu system to help all 20+ photographers and there different cameras, in getting the correct settings for Exposure Bracketing.

Here is one or 2 of my attempts from the meetup.
