Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Persistent smudge on pics

Can anyone give me some help with my Canon 5D which has persistently been producing photographs with a smudge with a regular pattern and in the same location on all shots. I have wet cleaned the sensor which temporarily removes the smudge but the smudge builds up again with the same pattern and in the same location over the next few actuations. Any ideas? Thanks.

If wet cleaning temporarily fixes the problem, then it almost has to be something sticky on the sensor attracting dust to it.

I have a Sensor Scope to look at the sensor, which I bought from DML. If you know someone with one of these then just it to have a close look. If not maybe ask at DML if they would demo one for you. That way you could see what is going on.

Does it happen with all your lenses? My old 28-135 started doing this.
