Boiler Prob

I ran out of oil, then i got in 165 litres, boiler wouldnt strat so i bled it until continous flow, i put back on the nut, and the burner started but about a bit later (few mins) the burner just dies completely and you can hear it stuggle for oil by burner starting and stopping before dying... Any ideas? Thanks a mill.

is there enough oil in the tank height wise to be higher than the burner/oil pump?
