Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have an idea for a website but I don't know anything about computers...

Like what all do you need to run a website and how expensive would it be?

you need to buy the domain name, if it isn't taken already.

Decide how the website will run and what technologies to use.

then look for and acquire suitable hosting taking into account expected traffic and amount of server space and processing the site will require.

You will also need to learn how to build the website you require or pay someone to it for you, which can vary depending on whats involved.

There are also plenty of companies that you can get to develop a website for you, who can handle most of those technical issues

If you're willing to learn and do it all yourself, you can host it for under 100 a year (e.g. Blacknight.ie among others).
