    They are worlds apart in terms of crowd, music, surroundings. Id go with the Mezz purely on musical taste. Mezz is more rock and roll.

    Do you mean the Mezz as in the bar / club in Templebar or the Mezz as in the basement of Twisted Pepper?

    Alchemy is alright, great smoking area from what I've heard but it will be a very young crowd, mostly 18-23. If it's the Mezz templebar you're talking about the club part of it is absolutely ****e but the bar is alright, everytime I've been in there it's been filled with people 25-35 with a good few foreigners and tourists in there, get all types of crowds in there. Depends on your age / scene to be honest.

    Yeah the mezz in templebar, think we're gonna go with that one now, the bar is supposed to be good anyways, can always leave if the niteclub doesn't suit!
    and yeah, that age group would be better :p

    Used to work on the door there, its not really a hen's venue IMO.. Although like you said if you don't like it your spoilt for choice in Templbar, with Fitzsimons only a kick in the arse away and well suited for a hen's (worked there too!).

    Ye I'd completely agree with Mak here. The Mezz isn't a hens party place, Fitzsimons would be good and then there's a pretty nice bar down the road that always seems to pull in a crowd for Hens and Stags. It's called Buskers and it's right beside Alchemy.
