I don't believe there is a nicer biscuit out there. I just ate two full packets.

Of course, if I had bothered to go shopping this week, I would have had something healthier to eat. But that wouldn't have tasted so yummy.

So AH, what's your favourite biscuit? Is there any that come close to the awesomeness of Bourbon Creams?

Mmm. Bourbon creams. I'm partial to the Tesco own brand ones myself. Anything but jacobs. They're too crumbly. You can't bite one side of biscuit off cleanly, and that's just not right.

    Are you kidding me ?

Everyone knows that Custard Creams are the best biscuits you can get!!

Chocolate Polos - I'd push grannies over for them....I'd push them over anyway but that's besides the point!

They are a close second. But I can only eat one packet of them at a time.

Chocolate hobnobs for me! Served straight from the fridge with a cup of tea.

    Bolands Custard Creams.

Honestly, they are ridiculously addictive. In college last year, pre-lunch snack would be a packet of these with cup of tea. Amazing they are, and only 99c.

    Fruit shorties MMmmmmmmmmmm

Have to say, I'm surprised at the custard cream love-in. They are to biscuits what vanilla is to flavoured ice-cream - plain and boring!

Edit: Although Rich Tea are even more boring.

There's no Bourbon in Bourbon Creams. It's false advertising.

So for that reason, I'm out.

Ooh, I love McVities Cranberry and White Chocolate biccies (I loathe to call them cookies!)

Fruit shortcake biscuit (or biscuit of your choice), crunchy peanut butter and then another fruit shortcake, to make a biscuit sammidge.

Just add a cup of tea and you're in biscuit heaven. Oooh yeeeeah

Jersey creams. A posh custard cream.

Yes, i'm fond of the occasional bourbon. No frills about them, but they are damn tasty!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,714 ✭✭✭✭Earthhorse

Bourbon Creams are hard to beat alright. They've been my staple biscuit for the last year and a half and I eat them at a rate of knots. Have to say, I got a bit bored with them recently and moved on to Chocolate Digestives; a good reliable biscuit.

The odd time I have a biccie, it would be Toffeepops (hate the other ones with jam instead of the toffee, Jammiedodgers?).

Fox's Thick Teas are pretty awesome. They're basically Liga for grown ups.

Outside of that, the humble Gingernut biscuit is pretty hard to beat. As is some nice shortbread. Oh and the Orange Chocolate Cookie things that Spar do. And the Stem-ginger cookies from Marks & Spencer.

Ugh, **** you OP, now I'm starving. :(

Because it's the only biscuit they sell in Limerick, right? :D

Own-brand Bourbon creams are the best, except SuperValu's which taste like the contents of a Dyson.

All custard cream biscuits are complete sh1te.

You need to have a highly paid job to be able to afford anything else.

Sacrilege to the bit in bold - Proper Vanilla icecream is like manna from heaven

I love love love Chocolate Kimberelys, I know I know, they're posh biscuits but the sound they make when you take the first bite and the taste sensation that encompasses your being is just exquisite.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,838 ✭✭✭Hooked

Bite both ends off an otherwise boring cadburys finger, use it like a straw to drink your tea through, and as soon as you feel the tea hit your lips, immediately whip it out and into your gob (accidental double entendre).

    Tongue-tastic!

    Then simply step and repeat...

Love Chocolate Kimberlys aswell but only at x-mas when you get the tin - so much nicer from a tin than individually wrapped!:)
