If I missed my signing day, does my day change?

My signing day is a Tuesday. I missed my last one, informed the office that I would be missing it (plus the following day) and signed on the Thursday. Forgot to ask if my day changes i.e. if I'm still out of work, do I sign-on four weeks from the Tuesday or the Thursday? Thanks for any help.
